Today at Story time...

In Carson's world they're only three categories to automobiles:

*Cars (which is pretty self explanatory)

*beep-beeps: which are any large vehicle ie: vans, trucks, bulldozers, and semis

*and choo-choos: trains and oddly enough golf carts (we do live by a retirement community)

Today at Toddler Time we got the privilege of seeing a very big beep-beep (otherwise known to all of us, but Carson, as a Fire Truck). The fireman came and read to the children about fire and fire trucks. Carson could have cared less about the stories, but he loved being able to go inside their fire truck. In fact he wasn't being very patient while we waited in line.

I love taking Carson to the library for story time, I look forward to it every week. I love the effort that our library does by putting on things like this to help build a love of reading to our kids no matter what age.

Happenings

Our neighbors have all the cool toys and Carson is jealous. Fortunately they are so kind and always lets Carson come play, or should I say ride?... Well we've had a busy and fun weekend! We started out by going to the zoo for the second time this month. Who could pass it up with the weather being so nice after a horrible cold spell last week?Carson loved feeding the Giraffe! I couldn't believe how brave he was to be so close to a large animal and to feed him with those long black tongue of theirs, but Carson was just so fascinated.

We went up to Flagstaff to celebrate Brad's brothers birthday. Its nice having family close by to celebrate things (even if it is 4 hours away). On our way home we stopped off in Phoenix to enjoy our first Suns basketball game. Unfortunately Carson had a fever so he was miserable, but he slept in our arms most of the game. Oh well, Brad and I at least had fun.

Nothing to Report

My friend once wrote on her blog about how during World War II the Germans had a machine called the Enigma. The Enigma was a machine used to encrypt/decrypt secret messages and supposedly it was unbreakable. However after a couple years the allies were able to decrypt their messages because the Germans kept sending the same message over and over: Nothing to Report.

I've thought about her post since my family has been after me to update my blog, but really nothing new is going on, and I haven't had any great/creative ideas what to do. I got so many comments on my last post because I posted about myself. What else could I tell you about my awesomeness that would generate that many comments from you again? Alas, I can't think of any. So you just get stuck with a couple of cute pictures of Carson.
