So Carson has been using the word "EVER" when he is upset and uses it at the end of everything.
ie: no time out mommy....{insert scream} EVER!
not tired mommy...EVER!
no eat dinner...EVER!
but last night while putting the kids to bed Carson gave Tanner a big hug and said best friend Tanner...EVER! As a parent it was a melt your heart moment. I know I've complained how Carson smothers Tanner, but when I hear Carson say that to Tanner its nice to know that Carson really is doing it out of love and not out of anything else.

Length: 25.5 inches (50%)

Tanner is my big little baby, because although he may not be "big" in regards to the national average. He is definitely bigger then Carson was! Tanner's personality is starting to shine. He has started laughing, grabbing for his toys, and loves playing peek-a-boo. He is momma's little boy, which I love. Even if it does mean I have to come home early from a girls night. He is getting better at eating his cereal and I think is actually starting to enjoy it. Next we are going to start on his veggies. We have moved him out of our room and into his own. I think I had the hardest time with the transition, because Tanner took it like a champ and I was the one that first night that could not fall asleep! Tanner has the best facial expressions. You can stare at him for just a few minutes and he'll give you 20 different faces. He's my little sweetheart.

Carson's Birthday Weekend
Carson turned 3 on Friday. THREE! It was so fun to celebrate the life of my little big boy. He brings so much joy into our lives. The morning started off with sprinkle pancakes. (Carson has now been asking for sprinkle pancakes ever since)
Then we had a little get together at the park with friends and of course a Thomas the Train cake. Believe it or not I didn't take any pictures at Carson's birthday party! I felt horrible after the fact, but luckily my sister in law Kami saved the day and snatched some for me.
The kids huddled around the cake. They were very eager to start!
Of course Carson had to snatch the Thomas train right away and lick the icing off it.
mmmmm....
Carson got spoiled with lots of, you guessed it, Thomas the train.
We were lucky enough to have cousin Brooklyn and Mason over to visit for the birthday festivities. Carson loved having Brooklyn over and was sad to see her go. They were two peas in a pod this weekend! Here are some other cute pictures from the weekend:

Rice Cereal
Tanner became a big boy today. He tried rice cereal for the first time, and Tanner had no idea what to think of this stuff! I don't think he ate any of it, but it was fun to try new things!
