New Years!

After Christmas we just wanted to get away and have a little fun, so we decided to go to San Antonio for a few days and take the boys to 6 Flags!

On New Year’s Eve we hit the River Walk!

But first things first, the Alamo. 

We walked the about 3 miles on the river walk! It was beautifully lit with Christmas lights throughout the path.

After our walk along the River we got Chinese take out and took it back to our hotel and watched a movie.

New Years day was six flags! It was our first time going and the boys had a blast!

The boys loved it!  It had similar feel like Lagoon and got us excited for our season pass this year!  Carson's favorite ride was Superman, Tanner's was the Scream (one where you drop like the Rocket from Lagoon), and Logan loved the Pandemonium a rollercoaster that also spins (like Lagoons spider ride).  Before we left Brad and I had to ride one last ride without the kids, The Joker.  It was definitely freaky!  Its a pendulum ride that also tilts.  Since we did this at night you felt as if you're being thrown into the vast darkness. It was awesome!! 75mph and 17stories high made for an unforgettable way to end the trip.

 Wish there was a 6 flags in Houston!  We had a blast and can't wait to go again soon!  Hopefully after Logan grows just a couple more inches so he can ride all the rides!
