Thanksgiving Break: San Antonio River Walk

After a fun day at Sea World the next day we did some sight seeing! And there’s nothing more famous in Texas than the Alamo and the San Antonio River walk.
A statue of Teddy Roosevelt
Remember the Alamo!
Can I just say what a gorgeous day it was 🤩
The River walk!
Tex Mex and a mariachi band for lunch. Perfect.
And Blue bell for dessert. Can’t get more any more Texas than our day!

Then to cap off our San Antonio excursion we took a boat ride down the River walk. It’s beautiful.

The following day Brad and Rich went to Austin on a bike ride, while Kami and I took the kids to get last minute grocery items for Thanksgiving. Then on Thanksgiving I took hardly any pictures. All I took was a picture of food and the kids at the movie theater.
Thanksgiving movie tradition. This years movie; Encanto!
It was so fun to have Thanksgiving with family and this year and to celebrate the holiday of blessings with people we love. And to have them here for a whole week making life long memories. Extra special!

Thanksgiving Break: Sea World

Road trip!

We went to San Antonio for a couple days of exploring! First stop Sea World!

We arrived shortly after it opened and partied all day! It was not crowded at all which made for an enjoyable time!

Saw the Orca show and these three crazies wanted to have good seats and so they sat in the splash zone! I think they all came running to where everyone else was seating when the time came to actually get splashed, I don’t blame them it’s winter and being wet all day is no fun.

The sea lions show! It was a cute and funny Christmas show.
After the show we got to feed the sea lions! Sea lions can get super loud when they are wanting food!

This picture just cracks me up 🤣
Going to see the dolphins and shark exhibits. Sadly the shark exhibit was closed, but we did get to see the dolphins do some training and watch them in their underwater aquarium.

The beluga whale and dolphin show!
Mason got picked to help with the show!! It was so fun watching him on stage and see him pet the dolphins. I’m sure for Mason it was an experience to remember!

The cute, but smelly penguins🐧

We also ride a couple rides. Most memorable was the Great White and Steel Eel.

Going during the Thanksgiving break, Sea World was all decorated for Christmas! So many Christmas lights, It was beautiful!

It was a fun day!

Thanksgiving Break: Beach Day

We were so excited this year to have Rich and Kami’s family come into town for Thanksgiving! It’s the first time they’ve been to Texas and we couldn’t wait to have some fun with them!
First things first, while the others went to run errands, I took these boys to the park and for donuts

Came home to gingerbread decorating! Logan was in heaven!
These two loved playing on the trampoline!
Mason loves fish, so we took them to our furniture store that has a giant aquarium complete with sharks and stingrays. Cool for a furniture store right?
That night was date night! Took them to our favorite classic Texas restaurant Anthony’s. It was so nice to get away from the kids and have some alone adult time. Plus the banana foster bread pudding was amazing!
Next day was beach day! Enjoyed a nice relaxing time at the beach! Hardly anyone was there and we felt like we had the place to ourselves! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect too, warm and partly cloudy. The kids were even brave enough to get in the water to do some boogie boarding!

Lots of digging and burying each other was had!

Logan especially loved being buried!

So much fun to be had it was a perfect day. Love these guys!
