Doughnuts with Dad

Tanner has been asking about doughnuts with dad at his preschool ever since the first part of the school year when he first found out.  I think his face in this picture with Brad pretty much sums up his excitement!
They had fun having doughnuts and apple juice.  Tanner loved showing Brad his classroom and they built a really cool tower together.

Then Tanner gave him these gifts:  Aren't they adorable?  And incredibly funny!  I about died reading it!  Brad really is Tanner's superhero!  Love those two boys!

Tanner turns 5!

How can it be that Tanner is 5 years old?  He has such a love for life.  He is always one who wants to play, hates being stuck at home because he always wants to be doing something or be somewhere, he is so great with younger kids, he's thoughtful and helpful.  He loves potty jokes, and wrestling.  He is also a great friend and brother.  We love our Nanner forever and ever.  I love being his mom!

For his birthday party he wanted the theme to be Batman again!  Since we did that last year we changed it to the Avengers so it would still be in the superhero realm.

Logan didn't want to be left out
and I have to get my picture with the birthday boy!
Since we stuck with Superheroes again this year I copied a lot of the games from last year.  Don't worry only one boy who came was from the party last year and I don't think he minded.

We played pin the logo on Ironman

Pop the villains.  A game where i put a bunch of balloons on the trampoline with villains faces on them and the kids had to destroy them!
We decorated superhero masks

Cute little superheroes!
Then Mr. Freeze was at it again and froze Spiderman, the Hulk, and Ironman.  The boys had fun trying to save them!

Then we practiced our Spiderman skills, which then turned into a silly string fight!

haha!  Caught this picture at a perfect moment!  Brad ended up shooting Tanner in eye with the silly string!  Brad's face just kills me!
Don't worry Tanner got over it!
Then it was piƱata time!

The boys had a blast! And I must say I was pretty proud when one of the boys at the party said that this was "the best party ever"! I took it as a huge compliment coming from him because his mom is Ms. Pinterest.  I mean literally, her daughters birthday party was featured in a magazine.  So that made me happy.  My parties may not be Pinterest worthy, but the kids sure have fun!

Then on his actual birthday, we met our dad at chick-fil-a for lunch, had pizza for dinner and a movie night.
He was so patient to wait all day until dad got home from work to open presents.  He was pretty happy though when he did!

Can't believe he's 5!

Blessington Farms

Sorry for the picture overload on this post, but I'm a sucker for fall time pictures!  We had so much fun at Blessington Farms, we went with our ward playgroup, and the kids just loved playing with each other at the farm.  The weather was on the warmer side, but luckily they have lots of shade.  Couldn't ask for a more perfect fall activity.

Tanner loved all the white pumpkins.

This reminded me of the ol wheel at the Layton Park growing up.

 The slides were a hit!

Logan was obsessed with this little tractor.  It was broken so mom had to push him around the track. It got really tiring, but made for one happy boy.

Snowcones to the rescue on a warm fall afternoon!

 Logan was in heaven!
Tanner was pretty popular with all the boys.  They all wanted to play with him!

Hay ride time!

the mommas (whats left anyway we were the crazy ones who lasted all day) on the hay ride

at the end of the day we finally picked our pumpkins

Such a fun time of year!
