2019 also closed the end of a decade.  It was fun looking past the last 10 years to see all that has happened.  New adventures, kids, cancer.  It was a decade of growth in so many ways, lots of highs and some very low lows, it was a ride!  Life takes you on many different roads and as it has been said before, you gotta take joy in the journey!  And I'm excited to see what the next 10 years bring!
Also what a perfect post to make as my 1,000th post!

Christmas

What a fun Christmas we had this year!  Grandma and Grandpa Clark came to spend the holidays with us.  It definitely made for a memorable one!

They flew into Austin and so we had to take them to our new favorite BBQ place for some yummy food.

Then our Christmas Eve we made sugar cookies!  Logan was the only one interested in helping this year.
And had our Christmas Eve dinner!

had fun playing apples to apples
and got so excited for Santa to come

Then Christmas morning came!  The boys sure were spoiled this year!

the kids were dying to open their presents

To end an already fun morning, the boys went on a scavenger hunt to find their last present
a family vacation on a Disney Cruise!
After presents we had our traditional Christmas breakfast, and then later that day went and saw the newest (and final) Star Wars!
Logan was loving having Grandpa here.  He was Brents little shadow and kept saying over and over to Grandpa that he was the best or how much he loved him.  When Grandma asked what about her, he said "I love you Grandma, but Grandpas my favorite"  He's 5 and says it like is.

Before we dropped off Grandma and Grandpa back at the airport we went to the state capital to have a tour.

It was a wonderful Christmas week.  A beautiful time of year celebrated and spent with those we love.

Preschool Christmas Program

Be still my heart.  This was my children's last Christmas program.  I'm so sad that my kids preschool stage in life is winding down and I'm trying to soak in every bit of it with Logan!!

Grace Preschool has always done the cutest Christmas program, and this year for the Transition class (class for 5 year olds) was no exception.

Click on this link if you would like to watch the full program its about 20 minutes long:

The morning of the Christmas program I was in charge of child care, meaning I watch all the other preschool kids whose parents work at the school while the set up and get ready for the day.  And I couldn't help but snatch this cute picture of these friends.  Its especially adorable with them in their pj's:

Logan is in a class of 18 and 15 of them are boys!
Perk of also working at the school, I knew where Logan was going to be standing and I was able to save a seat early, so I got the best seat in the house to see him!
love his little dance moves!

We sure love our little guy!
I didn't catch this little poem on video from the performance, so I made Logan go home and do it for me.  He'd been practicing at home and it was so cute!
