Cabin part 2

 We went to the cabin one more time this summer.  Just us this time.  It was quite and peaceful.  I introduced the boys to a couple old movies I loved growing up (on vhs I might add).  I read a good book on the front porch after a quick summer rain to take in the smell, and as I looked over a saw the brightest end of a rainbow.  I went to get a better look and not only was there one rainbow, but two.  It was a spectacular!  A double rainbow right over my grandparents cabin.  Grandma and Grandpa were watching over us.  It was a perfect cabin trip.

Our old vhs collection from growing up!  Happy to at least have taught my kids the pain and annoyance of vhs!  How to pause and rewind at the end of a movie.  How to fast forward through previews.  With all their streaming now a days at least they know how good they have it compared to us growing up! 😆

Lagoon!

This summer we decided to get Lagoon season passes!  I knew since we went once last year that the boys would beg me to go back and so it only seemed worth it to get the season pass so we could go more than once.  Especially since our cousins also got passes we took advantage and went lots of times!

On our first visit to Lagoon we found out that Logan was tall enough to ride almost all the big rides!  I was amazed that he wanted to keep up with his brothers and ride all the roller coasters.  I didn't realize what a thrill seeker Logan was!

See this roller coaster behind the boys?  That huge drop that goes inward?  Yeah that's called Cannibal.  On our first trip to Lagoon I really wanted to ride that one, but couldn't convince any of the big boys to ride it with me, but guess who did?  Logan!!  Than Carson and Mason decided that if  Logan can do it then so can they.  They didn't want to be outdone by a 7 year old so all 4 of us went (it took Tanner a few more trips plus his dad coming to finally get him to go on it), but it ended up becoming everyone's favorite ride!  And the first ride we had to go on first every time we went.

Spider!

Little cuties!  On two different occasions we lost Brooks and Logan and had to put out an alert on each of them.  Hazards of going in a big group!  Luckily both boys were neither hurt nor scared, but they sure scared us momma's!

These 3 are inseparable!  They loved being able to go off on their own to ride the rides.  Poor Logan hates to be left out, and so badly wants to be one of the big kids!

the only picture i have of Brad at Lagoon.  Shoot.  Oh well, he came for one day and the boys loved being able to take him on all their favorite rides!  I made Brad go on the one adult ride that the boys refuse to go on the Samurai (Logan would but it's also the one ride he's not tall enough for)  and it made him sick.  Haha my bad!  But it was still fun having him there!

Night time Lagoon trip with everyone!  It was our last time at Lagoon for the summer.  Perect way to end it!

Lagoon you were a blast!  We loved having the season passes and being able to go lots of times with our cousins.  It was a highlight of the summer for sure!
