Happy Thanksgiving

“We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives.”-John F. Kennedy.

This is why I love Thanksgiving.  It is one day out of all the year set aside to just appreciate all that we have and more importantly the people in our lives.  My life is beautiful because of these handsome boys, for our dear family that live far, and the many wonderful friendships that we have.

For Thanksgiving as a family we did our own little "turkey trot" and Logan ran the whole way!  We had our dear friends the Hickenloopers over for dinner.  We've been family since our dear Morenci days (over 13 years now!).  It was a wonderful low key day.  Full of family, friends, and of course yummy food.

Family Pictures

It was a windy day for pictures, but we got some good ones!  Love this bunch of mine!

I had to add this one of Logan! 😆

Him & Me

He has my heart

My Boys

My everythings 💙💚💛

Carson

Being the oldest he is very responsible.  He works hard in school, but loves to play.  We're learning that being organized helps.  We're nearing the tweens and as such sometimes our emotions are all over the place.

He's discovering himself by always willing to try new things.  He's making goals and setting his sights high on what he wants, yet when things don't go as planned he always picks himself up and has a positive attitude.

We're just trying to soak in every last bit of his childhood before the teenage years come!

Tanner

My middle man.  I don't know how it is in other families, but in ours birth order cliche's are dead on.  And as such, being the middle child, Tanner craves that one on one time with either Brad or myself.  He loves praise and adoration.

He excels at school and all of his teachers say he is the golden child in class.  He's a great artist even though he doesn't like it, and tries hard in sports.  He's very tenderhearted.  Tanner recently bought some ice cream from an ice cream truck with his own money, but he gave his ice cream to Logan, because Logan was sad.

Tanner can be fiery, but always the sweetheart and we love him to bits!
