The Worm

I'm sure only our family will enjoy this, but I love how Tanner "crawls" it looks like he is doing the worm.  Its hilarious.

Hear no Evil, See no Evil, Speak no Evil

I took these pictures a while back and thought the progression of them was pretty funny and when I put it together it reminded me of this:

6 Months

Weight: 15 lbs 4.2 oz (10 percentile)

Height: 26.25 inches (40 percentile)

I can't believe it has been half a year since Tanner has joined our family.  It has flown by!  He has brought so much joy into our lives.  He is such a happy smiley little guy.

Tanner has just grown this past month.  He turns in circles when he is laying on his belly.  He has actually been doing this for a couple months I've just haven't documented it yet.  He is also starting to sit up (he is still a little wobbly, but he's getting better), and on the day he turned 6 months he started inching!  I couldn't believe it!  He can't even sit up yet, but has already started his little army crawl.  Its happened a couple times where he will be playing with a toy and he pushes it just out of his reach he'll inch forward to grab it.  

Tanner also loves eating.  The one food we found that he does not like is green beans, no surprise he's just like his momma!  He has also gotten to that stage where he wants to grab everything and put it in his mouth.  I soon remembered why I don't wear earrings or necklace with babies.

He's my little sweetheart and I love him with my whole heart.

Clark Family Pictures

While in Vegas we took some much needed family pictures.  We have added two new additions to the family since our last picture so it was time for an update.

Vegas

We went to Las Vegas over Easter weekend to celebrate my mother in laws birthday.  It was fun to get the whole Clark clan together for an easy going weekend. Here's what we did:

played in the hotel and went shopping

  floated down the lazy river

 laid out by the pool

 wished grandma a happy birthday

 saw the pirate ship show at Treasure Island

and Brad and I got to sneak away for awhile to see the Blue Man Group

Update on the Update

Brad got an email today from his professor letting him know that he has been nominated for the Department's Certificate of Recognition!  The email said that this is typically given to students who have shown academic excellence.  All he has to do is finish his thesis so this can be presented to him at the awards ceremony the day before graduation.

I'm so proud of him!  What a great accomplishment and recognition for all the hard work he did while in school, and doing it all while having a full time job and having a growing family.

Brad called and said he is going to stay late at work today to work on his thesis.  I guess having this award is giving him more motivation to finish it.  Love ya hun!

Update

So lets see what is new with us...?

Brad is finishing his thesis.  Hopefully he can complete it before his graduation ceremony in May so he can graduate!  We are going to go to New Orleans (where his school is located) to watch him walk.  That is if he finishes the thesis.

Carson is in the terrible 3's.  Carson is definitely his fathers son.  He likes to relentlessly tease his younger brother.  We are also at a standstill when it comes to potty training.  Like before if he is completely naked he will use the potty, but if I put underwear on him he uses it as a diaper.  For those who are thinking that he would be bothered by being in wet underwear, he's not.

Tanner is still my good little baby.  He's eating food like a champ, loves to blow bubbles and play with his hands and feet.  We have found out recently that he is definitely too old to take to the movies.  I was hoping he would sleep threw the entire movie, but I guess the little power nap in the car was enough and he just wanted to play.

For me I celebrated my birthday over conference weekend.  Brad surprised me by getting me a bike and trailer so I can ride the kids around town.  I love it and so does Carson.  Brad also got a bike so now we can go on family bike rides.  I'm excited.

In other news everyone is moving by us!!  I'm so excited.  My cousin and his wife are going to be renting a house right across the street from us and Brad's best friend Jordan just finished medical school and will be doing his residency here in Tucson!   It will be so fun to have everyone close so we can play.
