Skiing on Copper Mountain

Last weekend Brad met up with Ryan in Colorado to do some serious skiing.  They got two wonderful days of hitting the slopes.  As an added bonus the airline that both Ryan and Brad flew gave them a two for one deal at Copper Mountain.  Score!

The first airbnb place they stayed at had a cat that really liked snuggling.
Driving to the resort

The night before the went skiing it snowed 4 inches of fresh powder that made for a perfect day of skiing.

Tired after a hard day "shredding the gnar" as Ryan calls it.

Lots of good food including a pizza place that served honey with your pizza so you can dip your crust in it and another place with yummy french onion soup.

That night they stayed in what Brad called a Clifton like town (Clifton was the small town next to Moronic, AZ that I worked in).  When I spoke to Brad that night on the phone he said "imagine if Clifton had a hotel, thats where we stayed at."  I think it looks cute!

Headed home.

Ryan said that Copper Mountain is his new favorite ski resort and Brad said that he just enjoyed lots of skiing and spending time with Ryan.  The trip was a success!

My Valentines

My little sweethearts

 My Love
We had a wonderful valentines this year.  Brad and I were able to get away and went to a really nice Italian place in Houston.  It was in a darling house turned into a restaurant with a very romantic atmosphere.  It reminded us of being in Italy and the fact that it was not rushed and took awhile for us  to get our fresh baked food, which we didn't mind one bit.  Brad and I sat and talked and enjoyed our time away from kids.  The kids loved the babysitter so it was a win win.  I sure do love these boys of mine!  They sure spoil me and am glad they're mine.

Golden Streak

When Logan was a baby he had a dark spot on his head.  People thought it was a bruise.  I even thought it was a bruise at first, but it was actually a dark streak of hair!  As his hair got lighter, the streak got more pronounced.  The golden color of the streak is actually the color of hair he had when he was born.  A beautiful strawberry blonde color.  His streak is in the swirl spot of his hair.  Its pretty cute.

Everyone loves his bright platinum blonde hair.  He gets lots of comments about his beautiful hair and his bright blue eyes. "People pay lots of money for that color hair" I've even been asked if that's his natural hair color, as if I'm crazy enough to dye my babies hair.

Logan however thinks his hair is his napkin and loves to wipe his dirty hands in his hair.  Today he had spaghetti for lunch and so his beautiful blonde turned oompa loompa orange.  We sure love this cutie though!
