Girls Trip day 3&4

Day 3 we started to ride the rides we haven't gotten to yet like Jurassic Park.  Bummed that we barely missed the opening of their newest roller coaster velociraptor.

We got soaked!

Next up Hogwarts again for some more butterbeer.  Got regular and hot chocolate.  I must say I think the hot chocolate version of butter beer was my favorite!

And after partying all morning we again took the afternoon to lay poolside

and to a nice dinner at night.

Day 4: our last day so we had to make it count!  We rode all our favorites one last time, but before we did I went to the Simpsons.  Solo.  Surprisingly none of my friends wanted to check it out (sarcasm), but I felt like I needed to look around and take some pictures for my boys who watched the entire 31 seasons! (😱) this past year.  It was their quarantine show.

The ride however made me a little nauseous!  If we ever take the kids I'll sit that one out!

And again ended our trip at Harry Potter.  Definitely the highlight of the whole park.  We ended up riding Hagrid's Motorbike a total of 8 times!  Its just too fun.

and before we had to go catch our ride home we got a treat to sweeten the sting of going home.  Butterbeer icecream.  I mean when in Rome right 😉?

4 Awesome days with friends.  Riding all the rides, eating all the foods, and playing hard.  No kids, no schedule, just a perfect mommy self care-recharge the old battery trip.  Well needed.

Girls Trip day 2

Since we stayed on property we got to arrive early and ride some rides before the park opened!  This one was one of my favorites as a teen!

Aren't we the cutest!  Plus we had to get a Harry Potter picture with our matching shirts.

Back to the park!

So cool little story.  I came to Universal Studios 20 years ago to celebrate my Uncle's 40th birthday.  It was right after September 11, 2001 and I'll never forget that because on the way to Florida our pilot gave an emotional speech over the intercom as it was his first time flying again since the attack.  Fast Forward 20 years and my family was over at my Uncle's house that very night to celebrate his 60th.  His favorite ride (as well as mine) was the Hulk.  So I had to take a picture of me in front of it to wish him a happy birthday.

So beautiful all lit up!

Another fun day at the Park!

Girls trip!

I love having friends that are always up for an adventure!  So we planned a weekend trip to Florida to go to Universal Studios. And it was a BLAST!  Such good friends, good food and fun rides.  What more can you ask for?  

We had an early morning flight and went straight to Universal from the airport.  We were too excited.

And of course headed straight to Harry Potter world which is what we were all looking forward too.

And it really was magical!

Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure, Best ride by far that I've ever ridden! So cool!  You feel as if you are really riding a motorcycle.  Plus they have a couple unexpected surprises that blew my mind (the roller coaster literally drops from one level to a secret underground level it was awesome!)

And you can't go to Harry Potter World without having Butterbeer!

You have to take a big gulp to get the full effect! I didn't think it would be as good as the hype, but I was wrong.  It totally is as amazing as everyone says it is!

Escape from Gringots!

Platform 9 3/4.  Gotta ride the Hogwarts Express.  Its a ride of its own!

Fish and Chips at the 3 Broomsticks!  Yumm!  

 Fun first day!  Can't wait to play some more!
