Summer Nights

Marilyns boyfriend JP is a fly fisherman and I begged him to take the boys, he was generous enough to take us up to Huntsville, where we grabbed a burger and headed up the Weber  River to JP’s favorite spot. It was a beautiful evening and although we didn’t catch anything we had a fun time! Although the boys say they still prefer regular fishing to fly fishing 🎣

And that night Logan lost his first tooth!
And yes his face starts it all! He was not happy about losing his tooth! The first for my kids. I don’t know how you cannot be happy for the tooth fairy to come. His tooth was practically hanging by a thread, and his adult tooth was already growing in so I had to pull it. He made me promise that his next tooth that is loose that I wouldn’t pull it he just wants it to fall out.

And gah! Look at this beautiful sunset we had on our drive back! Pictures never do sunsets enough justice.
We also had a cousin movie night with the Clarks in Ryan and Sasha’s backyard. Movie of the night: Disney’s Onward

Haha I ❤️  one of these two! It looks like they are in deep conversation! 😆

And I just love this picture of the boys on an evening walk along the Weber River one night with Grandma Clark.

We’re loving these summer nights!

Lagoon

These Clark boys sure are Handsome!
We were invited by Ryan and Sasha to go one day to Lagoon with them!  I have always wanted to take the boys there, but every summer when we go to Utah and I would look into it and would look at the price, always turned it down to the $$.  However this year with everything being cancelled-all their field trips, school parties, and decided giving these boys some fun was worth the price.  So we snagged Mason to come with us and off to Lagoon we went!
Ryan and I took the boys and spent the first half of the day at Lagoona Beach!  The boys were loving all the water slides.  (Logan was also there he just refused to take a picture)
We then took about an hour break to have lunch at Habit Burger.  Sasha met up with us and then Ryan took Brooks home to nap.
After lunch it was time to ride the rides!!  I haven't been to Lagoon in about 15+ years and although a lot was the same, a lot has changed!  Specifically they added more really fun kiddie rides.

Sasha and I split the boys up, she took Logan and Tanner to do some rides while I took Mason and Carson.

Love Logan's face!
One of the boys favorite rides the swings!

Took these two on the classic white rollercoaster! We ended up going quite a few times.  They loved it.

Tried to get them to ride this.  It took them some convincing and at first they were all for it, but then while getting in line, panic was setting in, and by the time we got on the rollercoaster Carson decided to go back and so just me and Mason rode the notorious Colossus!  After the ride Mason yelled "I can't believe I just did that! I'm such a daredevil!" I'll happily be the aunt that rides the scary rides with my nieces and nephews 😆

We also tried a new ride that I haven't been on yet, The Spider!  It was probably the favorite ride for the older boys!  They even got Tanner to who was a little more timid to ride the bigger rides to ride it and he loved it.  I'll admit it was an awesome coaster!
Sasha was much better at taking pictures then me!

For whatever reason these boys kept talking about how they really wanted to ride the haunted house rides.  Who knows why they were dying to go to the haunted houses, but they did.  I think it was a little scary, for them but they liked it.
and all Logan wanted to do was to ride the Farris Wheel. So I took Logan on this while the other kids went with Sasha to ride the roller coasters.

We also did the sky coaster
Loving life!
Ryan came back to cap off the night with the two littles. So Sasha took all kids so Ryan and I could hurry and ride the dreaded Cannibal! Probably one of the most funnest roller coaster rides I have ever been on.

Unfortunately due to the Corona virus the Lagoon cut their summer hours and the park closed early. Such a bummer because we all felt that we could have kept going.
Best Day EVER!!

When asked what there favorite thing they did this summer, Carson said Lagoon was #1! It was such an awesome day! They’ll always remember the summer they went to Lagoon with their cousins.

Backyard Photo Shoot

Ladies watch out my boys are heartbreakers! So so handsome! Proud to be their momma! Also this is the backyard to a friend of my mother-in-law. Can you believe it? Gah! So gorgeous! Her backyard led to a hiking trail up by Ben Lomond, and with the daisy’s in full bloom we had to get pictures!
