Brad goes to Utah

Brad had a business trip to Price, Utah last week and decided to go up a few days early to spend time with family.  It was just a quick weekend visit, but its always nice to see family.

Went up to Snowbasin for a picnic & hike

Brad was able to be there for the engagement party of his brother Ryan at his Grandparents house in Logan.  Don't they have a gorgeous view from their porch?

Other things fun Brad did:  Went to some of his favorite places for dinner; Mandarin, Nielson's frozen custard, and Cafe Rio.  Saw my family and wished my mom a happy birthday, had dinner over at Marilyn and Andy's, and saw Gravity.

Halloween 2013

This year on Halloween Carson had preschool.  It was a special day too, because the dads got to come to preschool for Donuts with Dad.  Carson drew a picture of his dad as well as a list of reasons why his dad is his superhero.  (I love these things, they are so cute!)

My dad is my Superhero Because...
My dad is faster then a ...Horse
He is stronger then...my mom
He can lift a...food up
He is good at...exercising
He makes the best...food
He is funny when...he makes funny faces
My dad is my hero because...he likes to chase me
I love you dad!

Carson Loves Halloween and loved helping to carve pumpkins and was so excited to go trick or treating!  However it rained and rained all day and we were worried how it might effect going out.  Then around 4 o'clock in the afternoon the rain stopped and we had a beautiful evening.

The boys right before we headed out.

Our neighborhood was just filled with kids out trick or treating!  It was so fun to see them!

What a beautiful evening!

Carson loved this cat!  It was just down the street and every time we drove by it he wanted me to drive slow so he could see it.
Tanner liked trick or treating too, but he stopped about halfway and just watched Carson have all the fun.  He mostly just wanted to eat the candy.  The next day, Tanner locked himself in our room and dumped all the Halloween candy out.  Silly boy.

Carson already has his Halloween costumes picked out for the next 5 years. We love seeing how much fun the boys have and are excited to start the holiday season!
