Preschool Field trip and other randomness

Carson had his first field trip!  His cute little class went to the Tucson Zoo where they did a scavenger hunt to find animals, ride the train, and then have an Eegees slushy at the park.  It was a very fun day.
Tanner and I got to go too!

Using his new binoculars to get a better look at the Giraffe's (they're his favorite!)
(super cute!)

enjoying a nice slushy in the shade.

Brad and I went with Scott and Stephanie to see Wicked!  We got a groupon that gave us half off our tickets so we got some awesome seats.  It was our second time seeing this play and I just love story and the music, and it made it even better to go with friends/family.

Tanner started Nursery!  So technically he is only 17 months, but I've been taking him in during sunday school, because lets face it Sunday School at this age is pointless.

I did it!

Tanners new word, or should I say phrase, is "I did it!"  He gets so proud of himself of the things he accomplishes by himself.  I think its adorable, and I love that he has learned this before the words "no" and "mine" (which I hope he won't learn for a long time *knock on wood*).

Love you Tanner and always stay proud of your accomplishments!

The many faces of Tanner

Tanner has the best facial expressions ever!  From day one he has always cracked Brad and I up with his larger then life eyes.  So I thought I'd capitalize on it by putting some of his tops hits together.  Many have already been on the blog, but we could all use some laughs right?

His most famous:

One of my personal favorites

First time eating solids (isn't it an evil look)

First haircut

The Klingon look

The "I know the flash is coming" look

This is what he looks like when he says "cheese" for the camera

The kissy face look

Trust me that there are many, many, more, it was really hard to narrow it down.  He just cracks me up and I love this expressionist boy!

Sunday Best

Its hard not to take pictures of my boys in their new Sunday outfits when they look just too incredibly handsome!

I told Carson that he looked like a missionary and he said "mom I AM a missionary!"  Love this kid!

More Birthday Fun

So to cap off Carson's birthday weekend we took him to Peter Piper Pizza where he was in absolute heaven.

He was so excited to ride the roller coaster.

It was definitely a fun filled birthday weekend.
Happy Big 04!  Love ya lots!
Oh Tanner!  The faces you make!

Carson's 4th Birthday Party

He's growing up!  Can it be?  He is 4 years old already!  So to celebrate we had a Superhero Birthday Party!

First we decorated our superhero masks:

Then we played pin the mask on Carson:

Then it was off to Superhero Training Camp!  Where they tested their strength:
This was Tanners favorite!

Then their targeting skills (the kids loved the silly string):

As well as learning how to jump over buildings:

Then it was a real Superhero test.  A baby was trapped in a burning building!  Fortunately the Superhero's where there to save her!

Then all the evil villains escaped from Gothom's jail and where scatted throughout the park.  All the superhero's worked real hard on capturing them. (I put pictures of villains all throughout the park that they had to find)

Afterwards we put them on the pinata where the Superhero's could beat them up with hulk hands!  (This was Carson's favorite!)

the loot

Then it was onto the cake and presents:  Thanks to Stephanie for making this awesome cake for us!

Daddy even took the day off of work to celebrate with us!

The party turned out to be everything I was hoping it would be.

As Carson said "this was the BESTEST party ever!"
