10!

It was fun having Carson's birthday on a Saturday this year!  We started off the day with Logan's first soccer game, had lunch at his favorite burger place, saw the new How to Train your Dragon Movie, Olive Garden and of course cake to top off the fun birthday weekend!

We're so happy to have this happy kid in our lives!

Double Digits

Ten.  Ten years ago my life forever changed when the doctor put this beautiful boy in my arms.  That first moment that only moms who hold their child for the first time can understand, because there's no adequate words to describe that moment except to say that I'd never felt a love so deep and pure then at that moment.  He's blessed my life in ways I'd never could have imagined.  He's curious, friendly, and can talk your ears off.  He's the best big brother to Tanner and Logan.  I'm constantly amazed at how smart he is and I love that he loves reading.  I'm his biggest cheerleader and am so so proud of him!! 💕

February Happenings

More of what we're up too.

Brad and I got a season pass to the Hobby center to watch broadway shows.  We've been loving it!  There's roughly about 1 play each month and its been the perfect date night.

When your friend's high school friend is an actor on one of your favorite tv shows, and she goes to California and sees him.  He sends you a shout out 💕

when two of your kids get cavities and get drugged up.  Ugh poor Tanner and his teeth.  Apparently this kid has weak enamel. I guess you can get weak enamel if you've had lots of ear infections (he had tubes in his ears), or sleep with your mouth open (which he did before he had his tonsils removed) or it could be just poor genetics.  Either way this kid is bond to lifelong cavities. Also learning that Tanner does not recuperate fast after anesthesia.  Poor kid gets a little sick.
he just giggled the whole time!
Took the boys to Monster Jam!!  Logan kept asking to see the big trucks, and they loved it!

Brad took the older 2 boys to the Houston Rockets game!  They had a blast.

February also means its Mardi Gras time!! We love this neighborhood tradition.

I was so proud of Logan that he biked around the whole park!

 February flew right by!

Aggie Basketball

While Carson and Logan did rock climbing this winter, Tanner played basketball!  He improved so much over the course of the season and felt by the last few games he was really starting to understand the sport.  He's team lost every single game this season, but in the end he's team had a fun.  Can't wait till next season!

Of course I never got a video of when he actually made the basket...
