Park City Date

and then Brad came into town! And the first thing he did was book a weekend trip to park city for just the two of us.  Grandma watched the kids for us and we had a vacation in a vacation.  It was heavenly and a perfect pick me up.

 The next day we took a gondola ride to the canyons where we looked around a bit, went on a little walk in the Mountains.

 Before we headed home we also walked around the Park City Farmers Market

 and listened to this cool band.  It was so fun!

And when we got back we had a Father's Day/Birthday celebration over at the Clark's.

I think this was the first time we celebrated these two's birthday together!

Popsicle!

It was a popsicle lovin' summer!

All Aboard the Dinosaur Train!

Heber Valley Railroad had a dinosaur train!  It was the cutest thing and I'm so glad we did it!  We went with Katherine and Olivia and Uncle Aaron.

Outside the railroad station they had dinosaurs to take pictures with.  Some friendly looking,

and some a little more terrifying

we got some cotton candy and popcorn for our journey 

We had some dancing (friendly looking) dinosaurs and did the YMCA after we had a paleontologist come and speak about Utah and how/why they are famous for dinosaurs.

They also had a Q/A portion where we could ask questions.  Our family asked most all of them!  Carson asked what is the tallest dinosaurs (Argentinosaurs: a long neck) I asked what the process is after they find the bones: they organize, clean, make molds, study, and either send to other scientists for them to study the bones or send to museums.

The dancing dinosaurs came back and passed out toy dinosaurs to all the kids.  The paleontologist then came around and told all the kids the name of the dinosaur they had.  Carson had a T-Rex, Logan; a long neck, and Tanner; a triceratops.

Logan loves trains and it was cute just watching him!

The kids had a blast!  What a fun activity for the family! 

After the train ride we stopped at Burger Keen in Heber to eat, and Logan was just in love with all the trains they had.

Every time we go to Layton we must feed the ducks.

 Carson snatched my camera and started taking pictures, so I snapped a picture of him.
