Fine Art Museum and Christmas Lights

For Christmas this year my parents and my brother Aaron came to town!  It was so fun having family in town for the holidays.  They got to miss the cold and snow of Utah for the unusually warm 80 degree winter weather of Houston.

December 23: My brother and dad are big art lovers so we took them to the Fine Art Museum.  We hadn't been before and I was surprised at some of the big name artists that we saw.  Monet, Van Gough, Picasso, and Rembrandt.  As my mom said my dad gets giddy like a school boy.  They loved it.
My three boys did pretty well, one security guard loved Tanner, she thought he was a good boy and brother to Logan and he was also making us laugh because he kept going around to all the naked people in the pictures and saying "bare bum, bare bum!"
Here is my dad talking to Brad about Van Gough's painting.
Next to some Picaso's
They even had a lego display for the kids to build
as well as an art station where you could paint like the famous modern artist that they had on display. Here's our boys fine art. (Carson on left Tanner on right)

Then we got some Tex Mex where Logan at he's weight in the green salsa.  He's become quite the dipper recently.

and finally to top the night off we took them to the rich neighborhood of Houston to look at the Christmas lights and see Santa.

I just love their Christmas trees with the dangling lights and so did Logan.
Unfortunately Santa was only there on the weekends and so we missed him this year, but Grandpa sat in his chair and acted as Santa for us.  It was a fun day!
