December chaos

December is such a busy month full of places to go, things to do, and people to see.  And although it can be a little stressful, I love all the holiday fun and all the family time that it means.

Breaking the Thanksgiving wishbone:
Setting up the family Christmas tree "this one is my favorite because of all the memories" -Carson

"it is a 5th graders responsibility to put up the star"-Carson

Introducing Logan to Star Wars and Logan seeing Anikin Skywalker turn into Darth Vader:

The boys got their green belts!
Tanner's cub scout troop making Christmas cards and organizing donated toys for the children's hospital.

Gingerbread houses!  Logan was the only one who seemed interested this year...
Company work party.  It was so fun!  It was Casino night and they gave everyone $2500 in chips to play Casino Games and then at the end of the night you could cash in your chips for raffle tickets.  I actually was having a lot of luck on the roulette table and had a lot of fun doing that and stayed there most of the time.  However even with all our raffle tickets we still didn't win a prize, which was a bummer since they had some pretty amazing prizes!  It was a fun party and nice to meet a lot of his co-workers.
My friend's parents couldn't go to Elf and so my friend asked me that day if I could take them.  How lucky did we get?!!  I took Tanner since Carson and Brad went to Aladdin earlier this year.  We had a fun date night at Texas Roadhouse and then this adorable/hilarious play.  We loved it!

The polar express train at preschool!
