3 kids at 3 different schools. Bring it on, it’s going to interesting… plus I have a high schooler 😭 and Tanner is starting middle school, and Logan is looking so grown up all of a sudden. It’s all the emotions. Praying for a wonderful school year!
Up bright and early to send this one off! Luckily this is really the only day I have to get up this early as he’s packing his own lunches now. Makes my mornings that much easier, but of course I had to see him off on his first day of high school. He’s a little nervous and who can blame him, but he’s going to be great I know it.
But I mean look at this cute little kindergartener that he used to be. I swear it wasn’t that long ago…
To this big high schooler with the teenage attitude. He’s a good kid, and I’m hoping for the best year for him with good friends and not too hard of a schedule…It would be uncool of a high school mom to wait with him at the bus stop, so I have to secretly watch from the comfort of my porch.
Next up to go is my baby. I can’t believe he’s starting 3rd grade. Half way through elementary. He’s getting so big. I’m not ready for this.
He’s also my one kid who was not looking forward to school starting back up. At all. As he constantly tells us he wishes we were born smart and didn’t have to go to school. It’s not his favorite, but the one thing that makes it somewhat doable is being able to see his friends.
Gish just look at his cute kindergarten picture. Again I’m amazed at how fast time goes and how big they get in just a blink.
He’s ready!
At least he’ll let me see him off at the bus stop. And the other moms whose boys were starting jr high were also there. We haven’t hit the uncool stage yet 😉.
Here’s to the best year!
And then there’s me. My first day didn’t start till after Labor Day, but I started training the week after the boys started school. This job works perfect with the kids schedule (which is why I do it). I took a different position at work this year since my partner in crime left to be a kindergarten teacher, so I am now a Lead teacher! Same age group as last year (the older2s), but being the lead teacher won’t be too much different maybe slightly busier, but I have a great support team with my co-workers. I’m a little nervous about getting a new partner, but confident that it’s going to be a great year! (The 2’s team)
