When you go to California you have to go to the beach! We went to the Newport Beach. It was a perfect day with great weather. We knew being October that the water was going to be freezing so we didn't attempt swimming, but still enjoyed all that the beach has to offer.
Carson loves playing in the sand by building sandcastles or drawing pictures.
Tanner found some seaweed! Tanner loved the beach and it was such a stark contrast from when Carson first went to the beach at this age! He wouldn't even touch the sand Remember this post/video?
Of course we had to recreate Carson's famous beach picture with Tanner this time!
Its always nice to get away for a few days and spend some quality time together.
This was the best last minute trip ever!
