After a year and a half, Brad was back to traveling for work! He always takes advantage and squeezes some fun in, this time he went Halibut fishing in the Prince William Sound.

The haul!

Ok so take a look at this fish!  It’s called a Rock fish and it’s a bottom ocean fish and as the fish gets reeled in its eyes pop out and the stomach comes out it’s mouth due to pressure. Brad didn’t catch one, another guy on the boat did, but the crew did say they are really yummy!

Brad gets teased by his family that he doesn’t like to touch fish (I don’t blame him), but when you catch one this big you have to show it off!

Lots of cod! I’ve been making some yummy fish in chips with it!

Brad brought 23 pounds worth of fish home in a fish box, as well as some buffalo meat his coworker gave him to bring back too.

Here is his group! It was an oral surgeon with his sons and grandsons. They all had a great time!

Brad also did some hiking

And some mountain bike riding!

Alaska is so absolutely gorgeous in the summertime! Hopefully one day I can go!
